Southcentral Foundation’s Pediatric Primary Care Clinic is an Alaska Native-owned, nonprofit health care organization that ranks in the 75th to 95th percentile in most HEDIS measures and is staffed by board-certified pediatricians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, certified medical assistants, as well as management and staff support. Our award-winning model of care is based on our belief that the journey to wellness is a responsibility shared between patient and provider.
Our Outpatient Pediatricians care for both healthy and medically complex children from the Anchorage area in a supportive pediatric community that offers opportunities for learning and networking, including weekly grand rounds.
No nights or call No newborn nursery rounds Schedule: Monday – Friday with one evening per week and an occasional Saturday clinic No RVUs One hour per week of paid wellness leave offering a work, life, balance Average number of patients seen per day 10-16 Patient panels of approximately 1,200 Paperwork, billing, and administrative hassles all taken care of by others. No Insurance constraints on patients Comprehensive formulary with on site pediatric pharmacy PA’s, NP’s to see patients when you are out of the office, and partner with you to coordinate patient care. On-site pediatric sub-specialist access: endocrinology, pulmonology, rheumatology, infectious disease, surgery, orthopedics, urology, pediatric psychiatry, psychology and neurology, speech and occupational therapists, and cardiology Clinical quality improvement team.
