Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for documenting all activities performed in accordance with established policy. Observes patient behavior, focusing on biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and sociocultural needs. Performs the secretarial/clerical aspects of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.Â Must be able to prioritize and process physician orders accurately and within designated time frame; seeking assistance as needed.Â Responsible for answering of patient calls, receives, greets, and directs patients/visitors, records and delivers messages for patients/staff.
