Position Information: The Training & QR Specialist is responsible for onboarding and training new staff, evaluating training needs and current practices, creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The specialist is responsible for researching and selecting the latest tools, resources and best practices to deliver and utilize training materials. Serves as a technical resource for interpreting and educating staff on State and Federal Medicaid and Social Security Disability rules, implemented policies and process changes. Assists with evaluating the validity of application denials and assist with the preparation and or argument at the Local, State, Chief Hearing Office or Superior level of appeal. Serves as a resource guide for other funding sources such as ACA Market Place, Medicaid Managed Care and Financial Assistance. The specialist will assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department leadership.
Experience Requirements: 2 Years Healthcare And 2 Years Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Or Accounting/Finance - Finance And 1 Year Direct Position Experience And Electronic Medical Records Preferred - Or 4 Years Related Position Experience Required - With High School Diploma
Education Required: Associate's Degree Business Or Education Or Related Field Required - Or High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - With Equivalent Experience
