St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 2 to join our Orthopedics team.

Responsibilities

• Supports an exceptional experience through all patient interactions, ensuring professional, timely and accurate communication - both verbally and in writing.
• Utilize a variety of technology, tools, and resources to support departmental workflows.
• Performs one of the following workflows with attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency:
• - Receiving incoming calls and making outbound follow up calls
• - Responding to patient messaging and voicemail
• - Scheduling appointments
• - Entering referrals
• - Pre-Authorization
• - Benefit verification
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year relevant experience.
