Penn State Health CorporationLocation: US:PA:Hershey Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.00 Shift: Day Hours: 8SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for the analysis of medical records and assignment of accurate ICD9CM and/or ICD10CM/PCS diagnostic and procedural codes, as well as CPT-4 procedural codes, for all inpatient, short stay, and observation services to assure accurate hospital re-imbursement. Work with physicians, administrative and financial staff as required assuring valid code assignments and/or clarification for timely billing. Serve as a mentor/resource for less experienced staff and serve in a lead role in the absence of the Supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIO
