BJC Medical Groupis seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our largest multi-specialty clinic located in Farmington, MO, just 1 hour from St. Louis.

For everyday care, they have board-certified primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, plus pediatricians for the youngest members of your family. The Medical Arts Clinic has a growing team of specialists, including OB-GYNs, Podiatrists, Colon and Rectal and General Surgeons. There is also a busy Hospitalist program to assist with inpatient care.

Practice Details:
Join an established orthopedic platform looking for additional support for the community
Currently, there are 2 Orthopedic Surgeons and looking to add 2 Additional Orthopedic Surgeons and 1 Advanced Practice Provider
General and sub-specialty orthopedic surgery can be considered
4 Operating Rooms with Blocked OR Time
Large referral base from well-connected Primary Care Providers
Beautiful Clinic space attached to the hospital for easy access for providers and patients
40 Hour work week
Fully wired with EPIC EMR
Shared call schedule will be 1:4
Easy Access for Physical and Occupational Therapy
Visa sponsorship available
High HRSA score

Competitive base salary (2 year guarantee, then wRVU compensation model)
$100,000 student loan reimbursement

Parkland Health Center includes a full-service acute-care hospital in Farmington, and a three-bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre serving residents of St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri. The Parkland-Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including a wound care clinic and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Role Purpose
Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
