VA Northern California Health Care System is looking for an Orthopedic Physician to serve Veterans at the Sacramento VA Medical Center as an office-based orthopedic surgeon.The physician participates in all aspects of outpatient care including: outpatient orthopedic care (invasive and noninvasive) to all scheduled and limited walk-in patients, providing the patient with risks, benefits, and alternative treatments and obtaining informed consent from the patient or guardian before conducting invasive procedures as dictated by policy and best medical practices.The physician is accountable to the Chief of Orthopedics under the Surgical Services Department and is responsible for managing the most effective delivery of state-of-the-art local outpatient orthopedic care
