OverviewHolds the primary responsibility for managing all aspects of the professional Charge Description Master (CDM). This includes, maintaining revenue integrity of Chargemaster files, fee schedules, and charge capture through annual updates, periodic audits, and ongoing reviews. Serves as a resource in developing and documenting routine custom billing system tests, builds, and enhancements that will improve maintenance and/or prevent billing errors. Reviews Current Procedural Terminology coding and CMS updates and disseminates information to the professional charging team and other appropriate staff.
